Gino’s Italiano in Kearney, Mo. Creates Authentic Italian Dishes from Local Ingredients

Gino’s Italian Cuisine in historic downtown Kearney, Mo, has been family-owned and operated since it opened more than 20 years ago. The restaurant specializes in made-from-scratch Northern Italian and Sicilian Cuisine, ranging from their famous hand-rolled cheese sticks to specialty pasta and pizza. They also offer more American fare, including burgers and a very popular breaded pork tenderloin sandwich, so there are plenty of options on the menu no matter what you are in the mood for. They have several gluten-free and kids’ options as well.

In addition to their regular staples, Gino’s offers weekly and seasonal specials. There is always something new to try when you stop by. Not only is Gino’s food made from scratch, but many of the ingredients are locally sourced from other small businesses. The list changes with the season and menu, but Chef Dennis always looks for opportunities to find the best ingredients while shopping locally.
