Find That Local Flavor This Holiday Season

It’s time to tackle that Christmas shopping list, so why not support your local communities while you’re at it? There is no doubt that online shopping has taken a huge chunk of the gift-buying market, but there is plenty of market to go around. And while we would never take away the joy of that “buy now” button, we all love it, we’re here to help you get started. First, let’s make a just-before-New Year resolution to buy at least one local gift for the people on our list. Second, let’s jump in the car with our shopping besties (unless you’re shopping for them) and head out for a mini-road trip in Northwest Missouri. It will add some adventure to the season and might just open up future day-trip possibilities. We’ve built this simple list to get you started. It’s full of unique gift-buying opportunities and some spots to grab that local flavor with your partners-in-shopping, be it coffee, a meal, or a snack.
