B&B Runway Café Offers Great Food, Service and Scenery

Sitting at a table with friends and family, patrons can look out the window, across the flight line, as aircraft of all shapes and sizes barrel past. Known for comfort food and friendly service, B&B Runway Café is located in St. Joseph, Mo., at the base of the control tower at Rosecrans Memorial Airport.
Rosecrans is a general aviation / military joint-use airport, home to the Missouri Air National Guard’s 139th Airlift Wing. The café is open to the public but is also a popular spot for the airport’s visitors and employees.

The café is open from 6:30 am to 2 pm, Tuesday through Friday, and 7 am to 12 pm on Saturday. Breakfast and lunch are served on weekdays, while Saturday is breakfast only. They have an extensive menu of home-cooked breakfast and lunch options, as well as daily specials. For those with a sweet tooth, pies are baked from scratch daily. Meals can be enjoyed in the café, which overlooks the runway or can be ordered to-go.
